This illness is relentless it never gives you a moment’s tranquillity, “Yet” life goes on and we must still fight the demon of the mind each day and not acquiesce…

Hi Barry, I had to get the Doctor out again the other night. He suspects another water infection, or he says it may be the prostrate trouble rearing its ugly head again. I hope not! However with only a couple of doses of his antibiotic, he has already improved, so I should say things are not too bad at the moment. I have ordered the WAV vehicle and it comes the first week in June, I can't wait. At least then we will get a bit of our life back and I will be able to get out and about, other than just walking around the neighbourhood with him in his wheelchair. I suppose I should stop moaning, there are plenty of others who are housebound!

Hope you and Sumi are well.

    Hi Barry,
Just exploring the forum a bit as I am coming to terms with my mother and how Alzheimers is changing her.

I followed your link and thoroughly enjoyed your photos set to music. It made me think. I have never thought of defining my emotional state or state of mind using cloud images (or any other image for that matter), but it is very effective.

If I were an art teacher, which I'm not, I would make that a self-exploration project: find a cloud that best depicts how you are feeling today. I do write a journal though, and maybe I shall start to view clouds differently from now on, and paste a cloud in that represents me at the time.

Glad to see you being creative - never mind the baking! Now I am off to bake some traditional Irish soda bread, even though we live in France.

Be well Barry - I admire you. Keep posting and I'll keep reading! Greetings from France (sorry can't say that in Arabic!) Best wishes, Big Effort
