    Full Time Home Carer

We have a very close family friend with no immediate family who following a stroke suffers from vascular dementia. She does need 24 hour care/supervision/company and would very much like to stay in her own home with her dog. Please could anyone advise the best way of finding a suitable carer/s. Thank you for any ideas

The Lady magazine is a good place to look for people wanting caring jobs ,Social worker might be able to suggest something as well.

Care agencies will provide a rota of 24 hour carers if this can be paid for privately. You can get a list of agencies from social services, or look up on the internet. They usually stay for about two weeks at a time.
