Well my Granddaughters 1st Birthday party went really well last Sunday and all the children and parents seemed to have enjoyed themselves, mind you there were a few screams and tears from some of the very young children when the clown came into the room but he soon got them smiling and laughing including the big children ‘like me’ in fits of laughter and kept the 40 children entertained for over an hour and a half so it was money well spent, the electric piano was also very good and my stepdaughter Yuni ‘Bless her’ had asked the lad not to play the music to loud so that I didn’t get so disturbed.
My son-in-law Hendra had been up most of the night decorating the house and garden with paper chains and blowing up all the balloons and the party got underway at 8-30am and didn’t and finish until 2pm so a good time was had by one and all.
Thank goodness I did not get to confused or anxious in fact I seem to have spent most of the time taking the photos which strangely enough seemed to keep my mind of all the noise as the clown had the children shouting out loud, and I finally fell exhausted into bed around 7pm and don’t remember much more until I woke up at 3am the next morning
Well that’s all my news for now and I think I’m going to have a rest for a few days after the past hectic week making and decorating the cakes with all the hand made chocolate decorations which took me a long time but worth all the effort and stress to my brain!

Then do not grasp at the stars, but do life's plain, common work as it comes, certain that daily duties and daily bread are the sweetest things in life.'
