I'm so lucky to have a fantastic family who haven't allowed me to get too miserable.
The post mortem found he had a heart attack caused by furred up arteries. He had diabetes and he smoked. Someone asked me why the GP hadn't discovered this but he wouldn't leave the house so hadn't been examined by a specialist or had any tests.

The funeral is on Thursday - a celebration of his life - and the cards and messages from friends have reminded me of the happiness we experienced together over the 46+ years of our marriage.

I think I shall be alright but I will come back if I need you all
