We need to do tidying together me thinks...

Just got back from mums (cleaned her house as the carers/cleaners not doing it properly !) and in this lovely sunshine we are having saw all the dust kick up as I walked through my own front door - sat down and had a look round and thought to myself £$%^& I need to tidy up in here

Would it help if we discussed what we had managed to achieve in clearing up stuff?

I have a room with 6 dirty coffee cups, 3 empty coke cans, a pile of knitting I was unravelling, half sewn fluffy rabbit (was meant to be finished before grandchild arrived) 1/2 a cross stitch (for said grandchild) sons shoes, a couple of jumpers (think they have been there since january) - oooh this isnt in the tea room is it? EVERYBODY will see what a mucky puppy I am

    all the best intentions!

I started well! did over an hour of sorting/moving
my aim is to clear the right side if bedroom by tonight!

went to see Lucy in hospital with Harriet

came home at 3pm the sun was shining took my lunch outside

    got my camera

    got distracted (very!)

spent ages rolling about on the grass taking photos from unusual angles

then planted up 2 of the large urns in the garden with polyanthus and primulas

now just eaten a donut having a cuppa then back to bedroom

still got ironing to do think I'll put that off til tomorrow

The shelf probably fell down because the false teeth ate through the fixings.
