This is all well and good increasing diagnostic rates but it isn`t good if the services are not in place to support them post diagnostically.
Good morning Mrs Smith. you have dementia, off you go now and come and see me if you have any problems in the future.
We haven`t got the services for the people we know have dementia today..`As we let our own light shine we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same`

Hello Grannie G , Have read the "Altz News Page " about this & bit
as you said there was a Govt Survery to fill out . Have not been able to find the Form to fill out ! ! ! , please can you help me find it ? or did I not look hard enough ?

Hello Everybody & Danny , Yes it is good that the M P 's etc are having this Inquiry but as Danny says ( quite rightly ) good "Support Services etc " are needed after the Diagnosis for the Sufferer & the Family also ( or Carer / Friend ) ( My Words not Danny 's ! ) Agree with what Danny said tho !
Some times feel that my Dad has very long "Appt Gaps " at the M Clinic he went in Nov 2011 & will not go untill 2012 ( tho gess that 's normal ? ) Sorry for change in subject !
Just hope some good comes out of the Inquiry & things improve for Sufferer 's & the Families
Will there be any News etc ( report ) at the end of the Inquiry ? .... Will watch this Space !
