Peter and Sheila Carr's story - symptoms, diagnosis, relationships & getting support

Articulate actor Peter first noticed something was wrong when he had trouble remembering his lines. Here Peter's wife Sheila discusses her husband's dementia diagnosis, and the huge impact this had on their relationship.

Their dementia support worker Karen talks about the support she was able to provide to help Peter and Sheila live better with dementia. Peter now lives comfortably in a care home.

'The best things in life are nearest: Breath in your nostrils, light in your eyes, flowers at your feet, duties at your hand, the path of right just before you. Then do not grasp at the stars, but do life's plain, common work as it comes, certain that daily duties and daily bread are the sweetest things in life.'
