memory book making

can anyone tell me if I can attatch a word document as I remembered today that I'd made a handout on making memory books which I said I'd put on here for you all

Yes you can Sarah. You just do it the same way as you do a photograph. When you go to the manage attachments bit you just browse in your documents for what you want and when that appears you upload it. x

It didnt but I guessed you would be the one to know
perhaps i need to compress it ?

cant seem to reduce it tried it as a pdf but just too big

Thanks for sending the notes Sarah. I think they are a great guide. I was looking for something like this when I made mum's. I think I will try to do one for Bill.

I saved your notes and compressed the pictures in them as the file was too big to upload. I have attached them here - I hope you don't mind! I also changed the format to Word 2003 as they wouldn't open on my big pc which doesn't have 2007 version.

Thanks so much for this Sarah! (and Izzy!) Mum's OT has asked me to make a 'Life story' book for mum, mainly for carers to learn more about mum as a person.

Thank you so much Sarah for your article, and thanks to Izzy for getting it online. I have not read it yet but I will very soon as I have been struggling with the thought of doing a memory book for my husband, Henry, but didn't have a clue how to go about it, just some vague thoughts and ideas.

Thank you Sarah, and Izzy. It came up on my computer as Works Word, which is useful as otherwise I only have Word 2010 and documents on older versions don't always come out right! This is perfect - thanks again.

Sarah I have this document all printed out now, thanks so much, it is fantastic.
