As many of you know, our volunteer moderating team are key to the success of Talking Point (TP): they work hard to ensure that TP is a safe, welcoming and supportive environment.
Over the past couple of years, we have recruited new volunteer moderators to the Talking Point team on an annual basis. Now, we’re going to try a new way of doing this.
We have decided to operate an ongoing recruitment process for new volunteer moderators, with the hope that this will offer greater flexibility to our potential volunteers. So from now on, if you think you might be interested in joining our team, you can get in touch with me at any time to enquire about the moderator role, or to submit an application.
It's important to note that we cannot always guarantee that there will be a vacancy on the team, however, it would be good for TP if we know we have new volunteers available should the need arise.
You can find out more about the role of Volunteer Moderator via the link below (please note that clicking on this link will take you out of TP and in to the main Alzheimer's Society website):
Volunteer Moderator role description
If you feel this role would be suitable for you and you’d like to apply, you can register your interest by completing our online application form (again, this form is held on the main Alzheimer's Society website):

If you have any questions about either the application process or the role of Volunteer Moderator, please contact me, either via PM or by email at kwatt@alzheimers.org.uk.
Many thanks,
Katherine
