    having a bad day

    Hiya

I don't know why but I am finding things difficult today. Mum has been pacing since 9 this morning. I have taken her out twice but she just keeps going, her fear of everything is horrid to see but I just can't seem to calm things down. As I type this she is standing in front of me demanding attention (not in a nasty way just looking at me) and I feel like I want some time for myself. Luckily we have day centre tomorrow and maybe that will calm me down. Sorry to go on but I know you understand.
We went to see her consultant last week and he has upped the pills but at the moment there doesn't seem to be any change. It's not worth calling the cpn as all they ever say is "stick with it".

    Oh well thanks for listening.

Hi Flinny, some days are worse than others aren't they. Maybe the increase in meds needs a few weeks to kick in...she said hopefully!!! The CPN should really be reporting back any changes, or not as the case may be.

Hope the day centre gives you chance to have some well deserved "me-time".
