I have a relative with Alzheimer's and don't know enough about the disease to truly understand. I also have a lecture to do as part of my work later in the year and am going to do it on Alzheimer's as a way of learning more about the disease. |

i wish to speak and learn from real people, personally i don't have much time for many of the "proffessionals" who i believe make the experince of dementia more undignified and depressive than it ever should be. |

Former carer to wife who died late 2004 after 15 years of dementia. I have been a member of the Alz. Soc. thru' most of this care period & I am still coming to terms with life alone & the physical & emotional impact of my care experience. |
