Nice to hear from you. Mum is up and down really. She has had several TIA's in the past 2 months, one of which culminated in her having to go to hospital. Fortunately she was only there for a day. They did a CT scan and full blood work, which revealed she did have vascular dementia (not that we needed convincing!) She spends most of time either sleeping or just sitting, but she will engage in some conversation and will occasionally get somewhat feisty!! She laughed out loud yesterday, which was wonderful - not seen that for a while.
How is your Mum doing? I saw your thread with the holiday pics - looks like you both had a great time!

Havent been here for months but just decided to look tonight and hence found your notification. I think its a good idea to take mum away go for it. Will Darren be going too.
