Sorry youre having such a bad time of it Tina. Again, I seem to be shadowing you as I have had horrific gallstone pain this last week. Luckily for me though I am having it removed in January and that should help. A friend of mine has IBS for years which grew in severity. Eventually she had some tests and discovered she had food allergies (I think it was gluten and wheat). Dont suppose you could have that could you? Her IBS improved hugely after she stopped eating the allergen. Anyway, I really hope youre feeling better very soon. Hope Kens ok too. Zoe xxx
He wasn't so good today Carol. He was walking badly and hadn't a clue where he was. All he could talk about the whole time I was with him was that he had put some money somewhere and was worried.
W G (the home on Highfield Rd) are very good to him and take good care of him for me.
Oh gosh Tina, more pain and agro. Well, I hope everything goes well and that you recover quickly so your visits to Ken arent too badly affected. Enjoy your family time and good luck for Sunday, will be thinking of you.xxx
Hi all, just a quick reply as I've got son here tonight and tomorrow on his way to Birmingham. We took Ken and mum into town today. Was I glad I had son to help me.
I'm going into hospital on Sunday (if there's a bed available) as I'm having a knee op. Not looking forward to that as it will put me out of action for a couple of months. I will have to sort out how I can get to see Ken.
Will keep in contact. Hope you zoet, nanny and bigtom are ok.
Hi Tina, just bobbing in to say hello and see how you are doing. Nail dropped off toe and although looks very odd and ugly is pain and infection free! How is Ken? xx
Just a quick ''hello'' to see how you and Ken are. Rons gone out with our carer , 3 hours all to myself !!Hope that doesn't sound selfish of me , but it does help me to re-charge my batteries. love to you both, Jan& Ron x x
HI TINA T sorry to read about kens care problems iam sure you will ask questions do they not read kens CARE PLAN you will know who i am as sylvia and have i have met you at several venues in BOLTON our best wishes to you and ken you will remember i was haveing concerns about sylvia s care in respite
Hi Tina, what alovely treat for you to have a holiday with your family,(are the babies twins?) I have twin boys, theyr'e 43 now !!I do feel for you being unable to cope with Kens needs. But like my social worker said to me, I've got to keep my health to be able to cope with Ron.I consider myself lucky really after reading some of the horror stories on T.P.All i have to cope with is, finding things Ron hides, constant walking about the house, asking same questions over and over, doesn't read, watch t.v, nothing,I can't wait for the times I have all to myself when the carers come to take him out and about in their car-- bliss !!As i already said, I don't have to leave the house, they take him for 4 hours.Gives me the chance to do what I want to do without him behind me all the time.Lovely to hear from you, take care, love Jan (nanny)
