My poor David is so so confused. I told him for the umpteenth time about my foot op and said I would not see him for three days. Lots of repeated explanations
He is going to drive me around and sweep the leaves!!! 2 minutes later he said 'what are you having done to your hand??'.
Our eldest daughter visited him along with family. He did not know who they were

I found today he could not complete a sentence. ...

He has been making very odd comments, his speech is now slurred
and he is extremely tired, even more than normal. The nursing staff/carers have noted...

I am not sure why I am doing this except to record something about the stage we have reached in this dementia journey.
Its now nearly 6 months since David showed a steep downward step. It followed a serious fall with broken ribs and the subsequent dementia changes.
He has now been in a NH for 7 months.
Today when I said I was leaving at 5.00pm - he said so what is happening to me? I said the carers and nurses are here for you - his answer 'but this...
