Hi there, Burford. I am Diane, 45, from Birmingham, and my sweet husband Gordon, just turned 65, is in a Home with advanced AD. He doesn't know who I am, yet one carer in his room recently pointed to my photo and tested him, asking who I was. Gordon smiled and said, That's my wife! I am very sorry for your loss. It's such a THIEF! Sometimes it feels as if Gordon is "doing it" deliberately, but I know he's not. Feels like he's kidnapped my husband somewhere! I write poetry on the subject and hope that I can get them down on the poetry section, to help give comfort to others. Do you want to add me as a friend? Hope so! What are your hobbies?
