Hi Barry,
Just read your poem--- most poignant.
My husband gets panic attacks if I am gone too long---- which I so very rarely am. I leave him notes but I doubt he reads them or if he does he forgets he has! When I am back and ,believe me it is rare I am gone for more than a couple of hours, he hugs me as if I had been gone for twice as long ---- either that or the 'panic' has set in and he is in a dreadful state of anxiety. I guess I must not leave him alone. When he is painting he is fine and life is good for both of us

Thanks for your friendship you will see I accepted it immediately don’t worry as you got it right sending a message it just takes time to get use to the system of TP so take it one step at a time but I’m sure you will find it very supportive in helping you and your wife to come to terms and understand about our illness much more
Yes this messages page is a way that we can almost talk directly but my problem is that I live in Indonesia which is +7 hours to UK

Mind you most days I wake up at around 3am which would be 9pm
But if you’re interested I don’t mind you sending me personal E-mails in that way you have more time to sit and express your thoughts concerns and feeling about our illness to which I would reply as sometimes it’s easier to talk on a one to one bases as on this massage board we can only use 1000 characters

I have read everything you did on the Alzheimer's Forum, and I do know that your views and poetry inspired many with this illness to do more to help themselves.
