by Helen33 on 10-02-2013 at 10:43 PM
I woke early feeling well again. Got ready for my sister to come for lunch. Linda was in good form when she came.

I got a phone call from Alan's daughter to invite Martin and I for dinner as they had a huge beef to roast and they wanted to share it with us. So Martin and I ate very little lunch with Linda to make sure we had room for an evening meal.

Dinner was delicious and the company was wonderful. We all enjoyed having a real good natter. Yes, even the men

I then rang Martin and asked if he felt like meeting me for lunch at the place where we first met. He did So I left my friend and drove off to meet Martin. Had a lovely lunch.

Day 16, Cycle 1 of new treatment

Slept like a log.

Woke up early and felt very well. Got ready so that I could be ready to leave early for the meeting regarding my sister's care.

The meeting was very intense and lasted 2 hrs. I was on top form and my brain was razor sharp which it needed to be to make sure things were very clear to each person. The outcomes of the meeting were very satisfactory in the end and it meant that it was clear what needed to happen immediately, what needed to be started

Day 15, Cycle 1 of new treatment

by Helen33 on 10-02-2013 at 09:30 AM
Thank you Jeany.

I was in hospital all day having more blood tests but they all showed that my levels had come down to within normal range. I was released from hospital early evening.

It was nice to be home again.

Day 14, Cycle 1 of new treatment

by Helen33 on 08-02-2013 at 12:00 AM
Thank you Butter and Sylvia

I have severe stomach ache and diarrhoea at 4am. I remain awake with constant trips to the loo. Apart from the pain I feel very well in myself.

I am hospitalised as an emergency because of acute kidney problems. I will edit this blog and fill in details tomorrow when I have more time.
