Well, today I finally got around to organising for my lovely wall mounted gas heater in the hallway to be disconnected.
I really didn't want to see it go. It gives off such a lovely amount of heat. It is at the bottom of the stairs and in winter it is the only fire we need on most of the time as it seems to warm the whole house.
Anyway, it is an old fire. We had exactly the same type at my childhood home and know that they date back to the late 1970s
Hubby is back to playing bowls for the new season. He had a match today, but it wasn't due to start until 2pm.

My heart missed a beat last night when hubby informed me that he had seen a naked person 'floating in the air' in the back garden while he was sitting at his computer (which is by a large glass patio door leading to the garden).

Hubby seems to be showing a very slow, yet noticeable, deterioration with his short-term memory - so at this point I am not holding out a lot of hope that the Souvenaid he has been taking for the past month is having much effect. However, having said that, it is early days and I know it will take at least 3-6
