my husband has been experiencing memory problems and intermittent confusion for some time. We saw our GP and very quickly were referred to a memory clinic. He was sent for a Spec Scan and was then diagnosed as having a "mild cognitive memory disfunction". He was then prescribed REMINYL XL. We asked the consultant wether he would ultimately get worse i.e. demntia and were told that they could not give us an answer. Can anybody tell me wether it is usual to prescribe this medication
