Dad goes in Hospital to have another prostrate biopsy in Feb because of increased psa. this is hopefully to rule out cancer.
Good news though, Dad only has to go back for assesment at the AZ clinic in 6 months, the lovely Doc says he is pleased with him. Thanks to the new Drug Memantine. He has suggested that Mum needs some form of break and the need to look after herself. At least they have a few days away with their coack family to look forward to soon.
Mum's having throat Xray
It's been a while since my last entry. Dad is definitely calmer on these new drugs. But nothing major different. Dad is slowly, very slowly losing more memory and word capabilities and having some confusion issues.

Dad is progressively getting worse but not as fast as he has been. We think his dose will be doubled on his next visit to the clinic.
I must admit Yes i get upset my Dad has this disease,
Can't believe how time flies!
Well after all the hospital appointments all the results are back and it's better news than we anticipated. Dad does not need to have an operation immediately, they are going to keep an eye on his anurysum as doing an operation now is more of a risk at this stage. Dad has an enlarged prostrate which is not cancerous at this time and also being assessed regularly. Dad has at last seen about his foot/ankle that keeps swelling up and got some cream to see
