- my mum had dementia for around 15 years. She spent 6 years in residential care before her death in September 2010. I am now trying to reclaim her care and nursing home fees as I believe she was entitled to fully funded NHS continuing care.

I don't think the man of my dreams exists - except in my dreams! Not seen a white charger for ages!
I did just have three fireman at the door though and sent them away as it was a bad time. I said I would phone them to rearrange (I am obviously getting old!
)
Why were you told off?

Silly question Hazel, but did you go on your own on these holidays? It is something I have thought about doing. I quite like the idea of doing my own thing on holiday but am slightly nervous at the thought of it also.

I feel like now my mum has gone that no one cares, no one is listening, no one values what I have to say - do the last 15 years count for nothing?
