We had 2 people from the Alzheimer's in our house yesterday. They filmed some snippets as soundbites.
General , like you can live well with Alzheimer's. things like that. We had a meal together before they left with all their equipment. So you will hear my voice as well.
It is throwing it down - very wet. Even the cat won't go out!. But we will have to do some food shopping.
Carrie. There will be leaflets as well.

I have been to London to take some photos for the the forthcoming Alzheimers campaign called "Remember the person"
We had our pictures taken (in my case in my walking gear!)
It was very well organised, and Tony came as well so I didn't get lost in London!
Watch this space...

Life goes on. Still singing in my choir. Lots of walks with the U3A. We are having more holidays - Venice with Tony next.
I have an annual driving assessment so I can still drive. But I only go on routes I know well.
Would love to hear from others like me who are living with Alzheimers like me
Carrie (and partner T0ny) who keeps me on the straight and narrow.

Despite British Airways efforts, we managed to get to North India (with Voyages Jules Verne)and we had a wonderful time. Saw the Taj Mahal from various angles, and went to Jaipor and lots of other famous landmarks.
The hotels were a notch above what we normally pay, and the tour was very well organised. One very good aspect was that we all contributed to a tip kitty so that we didn't have to worry about over or under tipping.
Now.. where next?!
A very happy Carrie who
