Our Alzheimer's Journey

Went on Wednesday, Brian bit tired but not a bad visit.
Son went on Thursday and he said Brian was very tired so he didn't stay long.
I went on Friday, took Brian to the toilet twice, he didn't do anything first time then a wee second time. I was not feeling very well myself so didn't stay too long, just before I left Brian said he needed another wee, but think he had forgotten he had just been! Carers said Brians CPN had been, he didn't let me know he was going to call in, not heard from him since CC meeting. Will ring him next week and see how he thought Brian was doing on the reduced Risperidone.
Visited today and Brian was very tired, head down and would not look up much. Daughter called in with granddaughter (granddaughter hasn't been for a while as she is struggling with what is happening) Brian would not raise his head so didn't know they were there at first, then he saw daughter and smiled and after a bit saw granddaughter and smiled and looked a bit tearful, he was very pleased to see her, she gave him a hug and stood holding his hand for a while, Brian looked a bit upset when we left but didn't actually cry which was a bit better. I have had a headache on and off since Wednesday, I think its stress but how can I not be stressed all I seem to do is juggle work and visits to Brian, never seem to have much me time except on a night! when I hate being on my own!
