I thought that we were finished here as the last time i posted things looked as if they were sorting them selves out.
WRONG.
All the LPA is now under way and every one has been informed although there has been a few **** ups.
Now Auntie is having problems and has very bad dizzy spells, which has been diagnosed as very low BP, does not eat hardly anything, does not drink anything either, dehydration, seems she is just giving up and all this coupled with she is very badly incontinent 24/7.
At last the authorities are sending someone in each day but other than that she has to be looked after by Uncle who has deteriorated quite a lot with his AZ.
What a crazy situation to have an 86 year old man with advanced AZ trying to look after a 86 year old lady who has bad dementia and many other health problems.
Maureen tries to help but as i have said before she has to get a bus to there home which takes one and a half hours and now she has to cope with the fact she is on the waiting list for a hip replacement.
Now that i am living far away from South Devon i cannot help in the way i did before.
One other thing to report is that Uncle has nor got a urine problem which make the colour look like port wine and the hospital has said that there is nothing wrong.
On contacting his GP who is new, old one went we think under a cloud to find that all this time there have been no notes to say all about his AZ problems and all the other health issues he has had over the last 3 years.
Sorry to go on but feel so frustrated that all this is going on and i cannot get involved to help.
