Dad goes in Hospital to have another prostrate biopsy in Feb because of increased psa. this is hopefully to rule out cancer.
Good news though, Dad only has to go back for assesment at the AZ clinic in 6 months, the lovely Doc says he is pleased with him. Thanks to the new Drug Memantine. He has suggested that Mum needs some form of break and the need to look after herself. At least they have a few days away with their coack family to look forward to soon.
Mum's having throat Xray tomorrow fingers crossed all will be ok. They pick up their new glasses as well. This week they both have hearing test as Dad has been left with a impairment in his right ear after his stroke and it's now bothering him. Mum too has been recomended to have a test done! all happening here!!!!!!!!!!
After i have got the downstairs room made into a bedroom , will have Mum and Dad here as often as we can. Although Dad is now in the reffered hands of the Social Services, Just one visit to the 'day care centre' and he will probably not go again saying there is nothing wrong with him. If that is the case i will go down and and see what activities i can get my Dad busy so Mum can have the break she deserves.
