After Mum and Dad returned home Mum decided that They are ready to have a little break with their crowd of Coachers! (Before Dad's Stroke they regularly went coaching) They went Thursday and returned last night and they had a lovely time. Mum reported that Dad was ok but hard work.

Dad now forgets i know who their friends are by name. Dad starts off by saying in a questionalble way, We are going away with our very good friends, you know, the ones we meet up with on the coach? We've been to their house?' and I say 'Oh yes, that will be Harold and Janet' Dad will say that's right .... If i don't answer the phone when Dad rings and Hubby answers my Dad doesn't recognise his voice and say's 'who's that'?

The crossword in the Daily Express has always been a favourite of my Dad's always completed has now become an issue for him to finish. Mum pitches in when she can and i help if i can (with the help of technology for the hard ones!) I even caught my Dad with the day before paper copying the answers into the current days paper Dad asks 'Please don't tell your Mum' That goes to show how embarrased he is in not being able to complete the crosswords. I have bought Dad a book of find the listed words which he finds easier to do.

I bought a nifty little item from a charity shop to help keep Dad's mind active and we can enjoy too. It's a Quiz book with several catergories and a choice of four different answers good fun. I try to find different things to do and keep Dad in the loop with us...to keep his life as normal as possible.

Till i see them again. lolx
