Oh blimey
i stayed at home to look after lucy with strict instuctions on how to cook the supper Cornish pasties and Baked beans, not exactly a heston blumenthal extravaganza
I put the water in the bottom of the double boiler to boil and the beans on in the top part to cook through before I put them on the top to keep warm, then I ventured onto TP
suddenly aware of horrendous burning smell bottom pan had burnt dry and the beans are badly burnt
trying to get rid of the burning smell as I type!
yikes the others will be in in half an hour and i've created a disaster
the first thing they smell wont be a warm welcoming meal but a burnt offering good job they got mentioned a lot in the bible I can say I was having a spiritual moment! NOT
