Yesterday an attempt was made to insert a nasal gastric tube - he refused to let them do this, he fought them off, he was very very frightened after the attempt to insert the tube, he just dosent understand, what they are doing or why they are doing it - a stomach tube has been mentioned - a peg. I have thought long and hard about this and have come to the conclusion that i dont want him to have a feeding tub inserted against his will - I know he may well die if he dosent start to eat, but to me a peaceful end is preferable to him being forcefed - PLEASE ADVISE - PLEASE RESPOND - OLIVE OIL</blockquote>
