This is a record of my attempt to employ an overseas domestic worker from Burma, and bring her into the UK specifically to help care for my in-laws in their own home. I hope this will help others who might be interested in this kind of practical help. I also hope the government will make the process of obtaining this sort of affordable help easier to obtain for everyone in the UK - perhaps through a properly regulated and licensed system for overseas domestic workers as practiced in Singapore, Dubai, ...
