Affordable Live-In Care from £120 a month

Posted 10-09-2009 at 12:37 PM by bronze dog

This is a record of my attempt to employ an overseas domestic worker from Burma, and bring her into the UK specifically to help care for my in-laws in their own home. I hope this will help others who might be interested in this kind of practical help. I also hope the government will make the process of obtaining this sort of affordable help easier to obtain for everyone in the UK - perhaps through a properly regulated and licensed system for overseas domestic workers as practiced in Singapore, Dubai,...

One man and his dog

Posted 17-09-2009 at 08:42 PM by Vonny

Dad took his wee border terrier puppy to Dog Training tonight. He is often exasperated with her but he agrees she may just be the saving of him.

I popped in for the 2nd time today while Will was having a drum lesson and dad (who had not been looking forward to the training) was animated and said he'd had a really good time. There were about a dozen people, all with mad pups and he said it felt good to be with people who had a fellow purpose. All clearly loved dogs, they were all badly...

Another low point

Posted 16-10-2009 at 07:00 PM by robertjohnmills

Dear blog, today I feel so disrespected and angry . How can it be that his father, his own flesh and blood, does not want to see him. That he cannot even do his own dirty work but gets a freind to write the note to tell me. What sort of person is so spineless and selfish that when his son has dementia, he shuns him and leaves me with the consequences of tears and hurt.
I hate him for the way he treats his son and feel sorry for him that he is such a shallow man
