Today I awoke early and felt refreshed and well. All the stress and strain of yesterday had gone and today was a new dawn. I had a friend coming to visit first thing and an appointment at the GP surgery for a blood test to check my thyroid a little later. Whilst at the surgery I asked the nurse if she could do my flu jab to save me coming back on Saturday and she did. Mandy came very early afternoon and we just chilled in the sun room listening to a sonic healing CD and chatting, ...

I didn't even have any hand cramp today. I experienced no sign of the illness apart from the leg swelling and even then it has been much worse in the past. I had a very relaxed day. My brother and sister-in-law sent me a sonic healing CD. It came quite out of the blue because they'd not mentioned ...
My husband is an alcoholic with Alzheimer's. You will understand that it was not easy to determine the point at which Alzheimer's kicked in and overtook the inevitable memory loss and irrationality that comes with long-term alcohol abuse. But there was a point, about five years ago, when it became evident to all who knew him that something else was afoot. Living our retirement dream in France as we do, it was not difficult to get a diagnosis and treatment. He has been taking Aricept for three ...
