I recently found out that my Mum who lives on her own in sheltered accomodation could be entitled to exemption from Council Tax because she is receipt of Attendance Allowance. None of the agencies told me this. I applied and wow and behold she is exempted and has a refund due to her. It hasn't been backdated but every little helps. How many others don't know this I wonder????
