12 months on from referral by GP, the day has arrived. I know the ropes from previous years – although with different types of counsellors and only the second time I have been referred on the NHS for ‘generic’ work. First session, I know, will be a lot of information gathering. Had thought to write down my ‘life-map’ ... but not sure how this psychotherapist will work and decide to go in unprepared and ‘hoof it.’ I’ve rattled it off a few times before, but it’s still frightening to think of reeling ...
