I only visit once a week, so I know I shouldn't get uptight, but from the moment we arrive it's insidious, on and on. She wants to go back home, she doesn't know why she's there, there's nothing wrong with her, she certainly doesn't remember falling and ending up in hospital on and on. My mum and I have never been close,got nothing in common.To her,family was what got in the way of having fun.She tried to make me the kind of daughter she could show off,teaching me to pluck my eyebrows while I was still at primary school,(dad put his foot down on that!)
