My name is Lindsay Donaldson, and i am fifteen years old. When i was around thirteen my mum was diagnosed with early on set alzheimers when she was forty nine. The type of alzheimers she was diagnosed with affects the language and speech part of her brain, so she remembers thing's like how her mum and dad are dead ect. But basic words are difficult for her, for example if she is going to offer someone a cup of coffee she would call it the wrong name, and it would take her an unaturally long time ...
