Hello everyone, I am new to this forum and would like to introduce myself. My name is Jayne and my mother has Alzheimer's. Diagnosed about 18 months ago we had managed to keep her in her own flat for as long as possible, but about a month ago she was found wandering outside in the street by the police and has now been placed into 24 hour care, initially emergency care and now into a more permanent home.
