I know there has been lots of information about this but am not sure how to find it.

My husband has AZ and has been in a home for 6 months. He does not qualify for free care because we are self funding, however he has recently had several falls, and now has a serious head injury. I have been advised that he may be eligible for CC, although it was not made clear to me how I can check this.


Any Help or advice would be appreciated.

I am absolutely fed up and just realized I never applied for this job or had an interview so how did I get this job? No tea break or dinner break very long hours very poor pay no light at the end of the tunnel but we still keep going and with very little reward except looking after the one we love who does not always know how much we do for them.Moan over and off to do some more cleaning in the bathroom. Shelah.

Please can I have a moan to anyone.It should be happy day .Our son phoned earlier to say his wife had just had a little boy (not so little 8lb 8ozs) to be called Jacob.and my Husband has just gone off in one of his modes and said he will walk into the sea.(I know he won't) but I am sat here crying when I should be so happy.

Hello , I'm Seda and I'm new to this site. I am caring for my husband who has AL. I'm hoping that this site will put me in touch with other people in similar situations, to learn from other people's experiences and also to support each other - I'm sure you all know how lonely it can be caring for someone with AL.
