Visited Brian this afternoon, he was quite settled at first and had a cheeky look on his face at times (telling me off, without words). I asked manager to look how much he weighted and she brought the scales and after a bit managed to get Brian to stand on them, and he weighed 13st, which is about right, yet he looks such a lot thinner and has gone down a trouser waist size, can't understand it! After an hour or so Brian started to get bit upset but I couldn't understand why, stayed a bit ...
Took granddaughter to see Brian after school, it took a few minutes for him to see her but when he did his face lit up then he looked upset but pulled himself together. Carers were looking for a shoe, Brian had taken it off and left it in the front lounge (never normally goes in there), seems he wanders a lot of the time again. Quite a good visit today, manager had gone before we got there so will ask tomorrow about how much Brian weighs now.
Monday, son visited and said Brian was ok just bit tired, at one point Brian asked for mam and son thought he meant me so said I was at work and would be there tomorrow, Brian said "that's good it will be great to see her again" and got upset and son realised Brian had meant his mam! then must have remembered that she died years ago! Tuesday, went to see Brian after I had been to dentist, he was bit quiet and got upset a couple of times but that seems to just be something we have ...

I was not feeling very well myself so didn't stay too long, just before I left Brian said he needed another wee, but think he had forgotten he had just been! Carers said Brians CPN had been, he didn't let me know he was going to call in, not heard ...
