Does everyone else have floating social workers? To get extra visits etc. I have to ring an 08... number for Adult Social Care and request a social worker. One is then allocated to carry out that request. On completion the file is then closed and that social worker ends their involvement. The next time I require a care change, I have to go through the whole process again and not necessarily getting the same social worker. If it is a different person, ...
Well, today I finally got around to organising for my lovely wall mounted gas heater in the hallway to be disconnected. I really didn't want to see it go. It gives off such a lovely amount of heat. It is at the bottom of the stairs and in winter it is the only fire we need on most of the time as it seems to warm the whole house. Anyway, it is an old fire. Does anyone know if there are rules on carers using the hoist installed, looking to get second hand ceiling hoist will the carers use it?
